@pstinard, so its pretty common for puppies to go through hypoglycemia? i know yorkies tend to have this so i was pretty much paranoid lol
Bella had two episodes of hypoglycemia when she was a puppy. We got her at 8 weeks of age, which I now know is too young, but we didn't know any better. Her two episodes happened in the first week we got her. During the first episode, we called the vet and they told us to try karo syrup and then call them back if she didn't improve quickly. She got better right away. I went out and bought Nutrical at Petsmart right after that and had it ready. During her second episode, we could *not* get her to eat the Nutrical, so we tried the karo syrup again and it worked. The rest of the Nutrical is still sitting unused in our cupboard.
