Hypoglycemia (low blood sugar) is common in young Yorkie puppies. It can come on quickly, and *could* be fatal if untreated. If it is hypoglycemia, you have to treat it quickly. Nutrical is a commercial product that contains sugar and vitamins to get the blood sugar back up. When my Bella had an episode of hypoglycemia, I used Karo syrup, which I had on hand at the house. I just rubbed a little on her gums and she snapped out of it quickly. Bella HATES the taste of Nutrical, by the way. Once they get beyond the puppy stage, hypoglycemia doesn't seem as common. I'd take Kupo to the vet for a checkup just to be sure, and describe the symptoms to the vet. We wouldn't want a misdiagnosis if it's something else.
