I am sorry I did say in my post that I would ask the vet if that worked before actually changing it. I was just wondering if anyone had been in a similar situation and had an alternative that I would get approved with my vet. And he said it was fine to leave her food with her whenever she was ready to eat it she would. He told me if I found something show it to him and he would let me know and that is why I thought to ask people with more experience than I because Google did not help. But thank you.
