I work in the medical field -- but not in the office where the doctors and patients are. (Dogs definitely wouldn't be appreciated there.) I work in a building across the street in a more just plain office-type environment - We have billing, medical transcription, and medical records in this area.
I have taken my dog to work only a couple times (it isn't something that is encouraged - nor is it something we want done often.... but an occasional visit is okay. Also, on the days that I took my pup to work - I only worked a few hours. He wasn't there all day.
