BabyFidgette -- I'm not laughing. I really sympathize with you. What a bummer! I sure hope you can get everything repaired.

My Yorkie chewed the corner of one of my large area rugs - but I think I can repair this. It was mostly the binding that he pulled away.

And - I caught him starting to chew the corner of a chair - got on him quick for that one.

I really do keep an eye on my little guy. He's 6 months old now and doesn't chew things nearly as much as he did earlier. And my four-year-old dog has done any damage for years.....

When I'm gone - my pup is confined to my large kitchen. He did damage a corner of the drywall trying to get out months ago - but he can't get to that anymore and hasn't done any other damage in the kitchen area.

Most of these problems go away when our dogs get older - but it's no fun dealing with "expensive damage" or "hard-to-repair items" when they are young.

Now you know why your landlord doesn't allow pets. How many times have I read posts by people who think landlords are unfair - saying - "Really - what in the world could my little Yorkie do???" Believe me, they can do a lot - right?

Good luck with your repairs.
