I missed him that night(!) but every time I hear that sound - and he has come many summer late afternoons for years - I'm taken back to being a kid, chasing that truck with my friends Danny, Paul, Johnny & Tutti, with Pat ,the Airedale terrier, keeping up with us and getting his licks in from everybody's ice cream. And Pat sometimes just grabbed your whole ice cream treat and ran! Great times.
