The incidence rate of *neuro* things is unknown - but not an uncommon malady that is posted here in Sick n Emergency. Nor is liver shunt - which unfortunately is pretty common in Yorkies. I do hope your vet does BATS testing to take a look at her liver functions. I am so very sorry for the loss of your other dog -and do hope your current one regains her health.
