Thank you so much for the comments, everyone! We have decreased the size of her playpen which has increased the likelihood that her pee will make it on the pad while we are away and give her a treat &praises when she goes potty in the right spot. I still don't feel like she's made any connection to the treats and potty pads but who knows. I've also tried to run around with her outside as much as possible and have timed it in the morning so there is time for breakfast and outside time before I go to work. I wish she went poop on a more consistent schedule so we are not following her around the house on-edge all the time, but perhaps that too will improve with time.. |
