Dogs don't need to experience motherhood and only breeding to better the breed should be done. Breeding your female is dangerous and there are risks especially if you are not sure what you are doing. I would never take that risk just to do it. If your mentor is a reputable breeder she should know that! Do you realize that millions of dogs are being killed every year because of that kind of breeding? It is also the reason we have so many dogs with health issues. I just can not believe it. You need to go spend some time and some shelters.
