I am probably in the anger phase of grief...I got my little guy that passed away via craigslist and have been unable to contact the breeder due to the phone going straight to VM since the day after I got him. I decided I was going to check craigslist periodically to see if my vets suspicions of him being from a puppy mill are correct and low and behold today, one week after I got him, she made another listing selling 3 more puppies. It is a different phone number than I used to contact her. I have called the police, the local shelter, the humane society, and animal control. All have not returned a call yet. Is there anyone else you can think of to contact? Also, in your experience are they likely to do anything when they only have a craigslist ad and phone number to go off of?! |
