No, Cookie started responding to treatment right away.

I have no idea why a vet would discourage an endoscopy.....especially in a pup that is not responding well to treatment. I think I might be looking for a second opinion and/or an internal med specialist.

As for the appetite, that is often a problem ... once they are really ill it is often difficult to get them to eat. You might want to ask your vet if some mirtazapine would help.

Prayers for your pup...hope things start to improve soon.
