Hi CPG,
I'm in Austin too!!! I agree that most breeders in this area let their pups go at 7-8 weeks. We are getting a brother for Rowdy next week (well not exactly a brother, same dad, different mom - acutally the mom is the daughter of Rowdy's mom - whew! that's a little confusing). Anyway, the breeder is letting them go at 7-8 weeks. We got Rowdy from her at 7-8 weeks also and he did just fine. I agree, it probably would be better if she kept them till 12 weeks, but that's just the way it is. We love Rowdy to pieces and he is the sweetest, cutest, little loving guy so we wanted another from the same parents.
