Piper just can't wait--for pretty much anything! She'll get so excited and in such a hurry that she'll start her jump early, only to fall short in getting on the couch or the bed...and landing often with a thud. But before I can even react, she's making her second approach (successfully). It's the same for getting off of something, her decision to jump and actually doing so are simultaneous! Her escapades often make me cringe, but so far she seems to bounce back from her 'bad' bounces; they're a lot harder on me than they are on her (Piperl is @4 yrs old). |
