I appreciate the responses. Mindy, mine doesn't sound quite like that. The best way to describe it with a "word" is a simple hack that sounds like "kack." He may only do it once or a few times, but it is that simple "kack" sound. He never does it any other time -- only when he guzzles water. When he drinks water like he should, he doesn't make the sound. Very strange. Magnus, my baby is about 3.7 pounds, almost 8 months old and neutered. The vet doesn't see him getting much bigger. I'm in the same boat as the original poster of your link. I'm unsure what size to get for him.
