I had a similar problem with our 2 Yorkies. Both wanted to be an "only child"
We persevered through many fights and power struggles. I always regretted the second dog, but loved her so much. Parting with her just wasn't an option. Well, now second Yorkie is the only child. She is happy and a great comfort to me having lost my other baby. I'm sorry I don't have any advice for you, but wanted to,share this experience.
