I think he's still a brand new little baby, and is probably just scared of his new surroundings and being away from his mom and littermates. Just try to remember that he's practically an infant, and be patient. He may be overwhelmed and not understand what you want him to do. I got my puppy at about the same age and for the first week, she was very much like your new puppy. She needed lots of naps and I would let her sleep, feed her, take her to the wee wee pad every hour for first week. I did feed her pretty often, little bits of food just to make sure she kept her sugar levels up....by the second week here, she owned the joint!! lol. Really, you would never know this little girl was ever timid and afraid of anything
