WOw... what a doll! I can understand the lack of sleep. My last little girl was only 2 oz at birth and had to be bottle fed from the get go every 2 hours. When I got her at 8 weeks she was 9oz- I had to get up and give her nutrical every 2.5 to 3 hours. She was Soooo tiny! But I knew what I was signing on for when I got her and I lived close by the breeder who said to call her 24-7 if anything happened. I think she was ready for some sleep and that's why she let me have her earlier than normal. That and because she couldn't give Chanel the attention she required when she had all her other dogs to keep happy. CHanel only crashed one time and I used a syringe to get some sugar water inter her. then put nutrical on the roof of her mouth and she licked that off and was fine within an hour.

Can't remember where this advice/ info came from- but another breeder along the way advised that you could also use the sensitive tummy formula mixed with a bit of coconut butter ( the kind that is made from ground up coconut- not the stuff you put on your skin) The paste is an alternate for nutrical. I asked my vet and he said because Chanel was having so many problems with allergies at the time- he wouldn't risk it upsetting her little tummy. (She ended up being allergic to corn and anything with corn in it)

She did get a big growth spurt at about 4-7 months and actually ended up being close to 3 pounds. ANd at one point after staying with my mom for a vacation we couldn't take her with us on- she must've been a little piggy cuz she was knocking on 4 pounds but looked pregnant. LOL...SHe lost that in a week or two and was back down to her almost 3 pound normal weight.

My newest little one Roxie is 17 weeks and weighs 1lb 12oz and will probably be just under 2.5 lbs full grown. And we have " Safe zones" in every room where she knows she is not going to be in the pathways. We are CONSTANTLY looking down and shuffling our feet. You can look down and nothing will be there...and you take one step and there she is. So I feel your concern. Trying to wrap my mind around half a pound. SO TINY.

How is tee tee? I am curious to see how she is doing. Has she gained any more weight? I really have never heard of such a tiny little girl.
