Some times no matter how hard you try and no matter what you do their ears just do not stand. Some times its due to the thickness of the ears (ear leather). Other times its just because the hair on the ears is too think and the cartilage in the ears isn't strong enough. This happens in all types but mostly cotton coated Yorkies.
I much prefer to keep them shaved. Its just easier and plus the hair grows back.
