I am off to plant my (safe) tick repellant plants in my garden and try to border off areas of the garden where I suspect ticks hang out. I'm making up my own tick repellant spray too. I don't feel like it's the protection of the pesticides but may be better than nothing. |
Thought I'd mention, this just came to mind...since you hate these toxic chemicals. Have you ever explored Neem Oil or Neem Spray, as an alternative? In the rest of the world, it's used a ton as a natural and safe repellent. I do know it's supposed to work great for fleas/mosquitos...what I'm not clear about is whether it repels ticks or not. Anyway, just a thought...
