It depends on the ingredient in the collar and how it will affect a particular dog. The one I used had a specific antidote so the effects were at least reversible. I am not fan of revolution. I used that on my dog Daisy a few years ago and she had muscle weakness and skin burning. I also was talking to someone the other day whose dog was vomiting, wouldn't eat, and was weak for three days after advantix application. It's unfortunate but these things happen.
