Gucci is almost 2 yrs old (July), and I only let her run free when Im home. When noone is home I keep her in my bedroom with her bowls of water and food, toys, her bed and pee pad. When I come back home she is sleeping on my bed,
. Is not that I dont trust her, but I think is best for her. Some people crate all day, even thou I dont really like that it might work for you. Good luck.
