I have used both. The dremmel is reliable and doesn't cut into the quick. However, the nail clipper is quicker and doesn't cause as much stress with the dog, in my opinion. Both my babies hate to have their nails trimmed, so with both I have to bundle them between my legs when doing either, dremmel or clippers. Bottom line, the quicker the better, just be ready with some steptic powder.
