How horrible, pesticides really scare me, and even though you don't always get symptoms right away, I believe they can cause long term harm. Sending prayers for Barney, and I hope the others are okay as well.
I just read your reply, how adorable that he perked up when you yelled cookies! Cookies may have saved his life!
