Piper will fly off most anything; she only uses an "assist" when getting up on something--like the bed. It's a concern, but she's so fast and she leaps off and dashes off in one fell swoop and so far, so good. I got her at 3yrs and she just turned 4--I'm not making excuses, but she's kinda set in her ways insofar as the jumping thaang (again, read: fast and determined!). I'm sure you'll be able to convince your little leaper to use the assists you've provided--consistency and patience, yes?! |
