I think to really understand your dog you have to spend three times the amount of time - just watching your dog - his movements - learn his different speaking barks, whines and cries - so twice the amount of time listening - and then intelligent touch. Learn your dogs muscles and bones through touch and sight. Finally learn *what* works for your dog - the commands - the exercises - the food etc etc etc.


And gosh I certainly don't want my dog to be human - their dogginess is why I love them so very much.


And I totally agree with what that show woman said to remember to let your dog just be a dog.
