I hate the thought of a 3rd surgery on this little baby. How long can I give it before it becomes a problem? She's on an antibiotic for a bladder infection that she got after the spay. She's still got 5 days of medication for that! |
Unfortunately, leaving baby teeth in can be a problem later. It is best to have them removed. If it is at all comforting, I can tell you that my animals have had many procedures/surgeries and sometimes have had to have them close together. It stinks for sure, but it's better to avoid the problems. I might just ask your vet what is best, they can actually look at her mouth and see whether it can wait a big. You might as well try to wait until they can clean her teeth, and they may not need it for another couple of months
