I disagree with a lot of the article. Veterinary nutritionists who have advanced training in nutrition have said simply reading an ingredient list is not a good way to pick dog food.

I also disagree that corn is a cheap filler.

If I said that birdseed (millet) and animal plasma were cheap additives to dog food, I would be read the riot act so I'm not sure why a continued assault on other dog food ingredients is still permitted. I feed my dogs home cooked food - should I say here than anyone feeding dog food is taking a cheap option? Just saying that this is obviously cutting only one way here, perhaps there should be a holistic and raw food section.
