This is one of the things that bother me and all the major food companies do it. They use many different sources of carbohydrates so that a meat source can be number one and it would look like it's actually the main ingredient, but this isn't true. Also, if the first ingredient is fresh chicken, which has water, it weighs a lot and it can look like the chicken is more abundant than it actually is. Sometimes, I think they based their ingredients on how it will look on the label, not on actual nutrition. It's one of those things a little knowledge can be a dangerous thing, so we need to be aware of their ploys.

Yes, I think he focuses mainly on kibble, because more is known, but as he said, "Raw diets, frozen meat diets and home made diets are here today and will be even more popular in the future because dog owners will see the excellent results these more natural diets achieve."
