By the way, I just wanted to let you all know about my visit to the vet. Couple of things happened. First, my baby has a bit of cataract (due to age) but it turns out the white spot that she has is due to ulcer. He has given us drops and he expects the ulcer is relatively small and should heal in 2-3 weeks. Hoping this happens.
Secondly, for the last day, my baby has been scratching herself so much...I noticed a large red patch of skin on her back. So went to petco and got sulphadene and applied it...but today I showed it to the vet..He gave a anti-itch spray and thinks it is allergy and asked me to apply wherever I saw it..when we carefully looked for red spots or patches, to our surprise, we saw them throughout the body..so, i applied it pretty much throughout the body...she didnt like it at all and was rubbing all our carpets and bedsheets etc...but now after few hours, her scratching has reduced quite a bit and is sleeping well tonight...yesterday night, she did not sleep pretty much and appeared restless and had me awake for long periods...I did not know that such skin infections can come within a day and make her this uncomfortable.
Anyways, now my aim is to stop her itching and then i will turn my attention to her eyes...i am hopeful her eye ulcer will heal...she was very active today , had a good bowel movement and everything..
