Smart girl! You got out of there. Could have been about to take off with her to force you into following him into a house or right into a van to try to save your baby. So glad you got out of there and if he approaches you again, snap a picture surreptitiously if you can without costing you any time and then get out of there fast and this time, call the cops. They like to know if there is someone in the neighborhood possibly trying to lure women to follow them and if he had your baby and didn't return, obviously you'd have followed him. Be careful out there!
And don't leave your baby out in the backyard unattended. People can come right up to your back fence and leap over it, take your baby and be gone in no time if you're not out there.
