I am glad mine came around so quickly. I do agree though, she just needs time. Mine didn't play with toys when I got him. He could barely walk up the street. Now he plays and we have fun and he has such an awesome personality. He also will be going hiking as he has just gotten in so much better shape. She is much younger than my 9 year old so I suspect she will physically bounce back faster than mine.
