Yeah, that does suck. My dad died when I was 26 and my mom died 4 years ago. It wasn't any easier at 42 than it had been at 26. I miss them every single day. |
I HATE IT My mother died Dec 30, 1991, I was 30...she got sick on Dec 23rd....that was the year without a Christmas. Took me a long, long time to put up Christmas decorations and not cry the entire time.
Fast forward to age 44....my father passed away last May. I will tell you a secret....I placed a note in his pocket....inside it said..."I will
always be
your baby. No one else knows I did that.....
I'll tell ya when my father died, it brought all the emotions from my mother passing right back up to the top....everything you'd thought you'd dealt with....sigh.
Both seem like yesterday and forever at the same time
