High Maintenance? Yes I think so. I have 3 fur kids who need constant attention physically and emotionally, grooming by me on a daily basis, professional grooming which costs $$$, etc. I don't think being "high maintenance" is a bad thing, I wouldn't change it for the world.
I thank my lucky stars daily for them needing me to do all this "maintenance".
I dunno, it seems almost everything is "high maintenance". Pets, children, husbands, wifes, vehicles, homes, etc. The list goes on forever, LOL.
