The eyelash glue will eventually work its way loose or you can use a qtip and olive oil and it will come off that way. With the cardboard with brown side out it is not as noticeable so my other baby didn't mess with it. Once you put the glue on the cardboard let it sit a minute then put it on, that way it will not slide as bad and will be pretty much set when you get it on. I put a couple of pics of Presley on my profile with his ears like this, one of them he has a aqua hairbow and the other is a green hairbow so you know which ones to look at. It may work for your baby that is 7 months, he could still be teething, I know Presley has not lost all his teeth yet.
