 Raising Bailey's food bowl?
From early on, Bailey (3yo) has taken his kibble out of his bowl, one by one, and then eats it; sometimes crunching and other times just swallowing. How does your furrbaby eat?
My vet has suggested raising Bailey's bowl, to hopefully circumvent any future problems with his trachea. Does anyone have any comments/experience regarding this? I would have to train him to stay at his bowl, or it would all be for not because of his current eating regime. I was planning on putting him on a leash to keep him there. No free feeding til he learns this way. First though, I would like to know from you all, as this is my first Yorkie. Thanks so much! |
