LOL, We raised geese growing up, even incubated our own eggs (in the house). I played with those baby goslings a lot and we never had a case of mites that I remember. They were a lot of fun, and become quite attached if you spent the time with them, but they were definitely mean when they were laying. I got attacked by one that left a pretty good bruise on my behind where she clamped down.

Best guard dogs we ever had. LOL
