My brother is a retired NY police officer, I have 3 nephews on the police force, I stand by them. Police have access to Mace, Pepper spray and Taser's all can be used for PETS in yards where signs BEWARE OF DOG are posted. Why shoot first, ask questions later, I agree police need additional training on warding off dogs confined on their own property.
