I sprinkle a 1/2 packet of FortiFlora into his food now since the Giardia scare. i fed him @ 6:30 this morning and he has been just laying down sleeping since he took the Bravecto with his meal. My question is: Did I overdose him with the Bravecto/FortiFlora combination? Or is it normal for him to feel sleepy after taking Bravecto? He's normally so energetic, it's not like him to sleep so much after eating. |
It sounds like the side effects are from the Bravecto, not the FortiFlora. You should contact your vet ASAP. Personally, I would not give my dog Bravecto since it protects against ticks for 12 weeks--that sounds a little too strong to me to be giving to a dog as small as a Yorkie. I hope your little one gets better!
