If not, I use loom bands because you can get like a million for $2. They do not break the hair and are easy to remove. They do break when I remove them, but for the price, I could break one a day and have a years supply at $2.


You absolutely MUST, however, ensure that your dog does not ingest them. Like other hair bows and bands, these can get wrapped around the intestines of the dog if ingested.


SO, hair claws sound like a great idea and move on to bands if the claws aren't suitable. Teddy would grind his head in the carpet with claws, cuz I think he felt the weight of them, but loom bands he loves and waits for me to put them in each morning.
