Mitsy should be spayed BEFORE her first heat cycle, they usually come into heat around 6 months old.
If it was me, I would have my vet spay her ASAP.
If it was me not knowing if my female had a heat cycle already and not sure if she'll come into heat I wouldn't let her be around any un-nuertered male period. But that's me. Good luck.
