Hi, I'm new to this forum and the Silky/Yorkie world.
I adopted Alonzo from a shelter in Boca, FL in September, and they told me that he was a purebred Yorkie. But when I took him for grooming the groomer mentioned that she thought he might actually be a Silky Terrier. I asked the vet and she said it is possible. Since then multiple people in public have said that he looks much more like a Silky than a Yorkie.
Alonzo is 11.4 lbs, has the triangle ears, about 23 inches in length from tip of cropped tail to his nose. He has very long legs and I keep his coat short but it is very wavy when I let it grow out. His coat is also very silvery and he is roughly 2.5 years old. His personality seems to be a mix to me.
I can't tell which breed he is and I was wondering if I could get some help?
