It's a huge red flag to me when someone is breeding ourebred dogs and not registering them with AKC. They only allow so many litters/registrations per dog. When a breeder isn't registering or is selling without papers, it always makes me think they are overbreeding their dogs, and are trying to make $ from a few litters flying under the radar. Personally, I wouldn't support such a breeder by giving them my money.
