I'm not an expert and I adopted my girl from a bad situation. But, just from reading these boards constantly that sure does seem fishy to me. Even just getting the puppy pictures wrong...did you question her as the pictures were coming? Is she a backyard breeder? Kind of sounds like it. Since she said she would have kept the one you picked out, it does seem like she made a switch, to me. My little girl is 5 months old and weighs 10 lbs, lol. At this rate she's going to be a moose! I would definitely be troubled about the papers not arriving. I didn't pay for a purebred. I have no true history of my baby, but she's a living angel. I wouldn't trade her for the world. I hope it all works out for you. I'm sure that some of the legitimate breeders and knowlegable Yorkie experts will offer you some useful suggestions. Good luck. |
