When I retired we moved to a rural area. It turns out that cell phone coverage can be an issue.
I treated myself to a smartphone, and the overages were ridiculous because in an area like this you have to pay for data by the gig. For DH and I the bill was typically over 300 a month.
I miss my smart phone, but now we both use flip phones from Affinity for under 40 a month for both!
Once we move back to "civilization" I am going to look into smart phone again. I kind of like the prices on the ones that are prepaid. |
