ZoE has a great vet. I truly feel lucky she has him. I had an okay vet with my last yorkie, but he was more about the $$ than the dog. ZoE's vet is all sbout her best interest and he loves educating and sharing knowledge with his clients, which i really like. He is not available 24/7 though (although you can text him and he's always responded for us), and he's the only vet in his practice so when he's gone you get referred elsewhere in an emergency. We do have an ER hospital we use if need be thats just fifteen minutes from my house. We don't have any cets close to me that are available 24/7. They all refer you yo the ER after hours if it can't wait until the next day. |
Yeh or at least say"we will see how she is doing" like if she's doing well why keep her....or " you will need to sign a release " but it was a "no...its policy, 'shehas to stay the night.'.....until the next afternoon to boot. I can understand if there were complications but that was not the case.i thought if I insisted they would let me ......
Well ya know what....she is my dog and I had nothing to make me feel it was ok to leave her , away from what she knows , into a world of who knows what for 32 hours! That's too long. With one check in during the night.😱 uh uh
Izzy is a flighty little scarey cat and I could just see her in panic mode. Yes I know she would be drugged but not completely out where she didn't know what was going on, knowing she wasn't home, and scared of all the new noises and smells. I had Zoey home same day a while back....she sprung right out of it...
The more I think about it the madder I get ....I'm sure glad I talked about this before , here , then called and asked if there was someone at the clinic all night!
