Default First long road trip

Addie and Raider took their first long road trip last Weds. Almost 8 hours without an incident. Not a major one anyway. They turned 12 weeks old on Sat so we were proud of them. We stopped every 2 hours and put them on their leashes for a potty break. They both peed and Addie pooped once. Poor Raider held the poop the whole trip and when we got to our getaway house at the Texas coast, you would have thought a lab had just relieved himself. Poor little guy.

The only incident we had was one of the places we stopped. Under the shade of a big tree near a new hospital, freshly mowed. No signs of previous dog activity. Poor little guys picked up hundreds (seemed like thousands) of little burrs about the size of a bb. It took about 45 minutes to comb them all out.

We tried the pumpkin to deal with the poop eating but it didn't help. I guess we'll try some of the commercially available stuff.
