107Barney has a point... But don't let others influence your decisions. This is between you and your dog and where you are with your relationship.
If my precious old Yorkie could have had more comfortable years I would have paid $5000 a year for those years readily! We don't put down other sentient being who are pain free and able to enjoy any part of life just because they are old. Only you know what is right for you and your pup! It is always. Tough decision but you puppies depending upon you to do what is right - and only you can know that.
