Went to a blind wine tasting party last night and there were some AWESOME appetizers there, omg.
One really fab and easy idea was doing a caprese salad as a toothpick appetizer - brazilliant! What she did is take a decorative toothpick - and put a 1/2 of a cherry tomato on there, then a little piece of mozzarella, then a little basil leaf - have a whole bunch those prepped on a plate - drizzle the plate w/ a balsamic glaze - SO GOOD and super popular too.
Then also, she had some sort of phyllo cup w/ spinach/cheese inside - which was insanely de-LISH and I'll post the recipe if I can get it.
