Thank you everyone for all your support. I did end up calling the vets office and speaking with a tech. He told me to keep watch of the area the next few days to be sure it doesn't get infected. He said that if there is any of the tick left in there it should work its way out but may take a few weeks to do so. As long as it doesn't get infected, she doesn't start running a fever than she will be fine. So I will watch the little one for the next few days for signs of a fever and get her flea and tick and heartworm meds on her as quickly as possible. Thank you all again, I love this forum!!!!
