First of all, please don't beat yourself up! We all make mistakes, and of course you never meant any harm. Ticks are a huge issue here in NJ as well. I did almost the opposite of what you did, and think I caused a problem for my 5 month old puppy. I gave her the heart worm and flea&tick medicine at the same time…Two days later I was at the vet, because she was pretty sick, with tremors etc. You should call the vet and ask if you should bring her in. The sooner they can catch lymes, the more likely they can manage it. I know sometimes after removing ticks, the area will swell on a dog, so it makes it hard to know if its all out or not. Truthfully, if in doubt I always go to the vet. I have my own chair there now, lol. I've been there so much with my puppy. Good luck!!
